DAY 1
Marrakech – Zagora
First we cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass of the High Atlas mountains. You will pass through many Berber villages, and once in the desert, riverside oasis and barren hillsides are clustered with Kasbahs.
After lunch we drive further to Zagora, with beautiful views of the Draa Valley. Along the way you will have a chance to walk around a local palmeries in the Draa Valley and visit a Berber guest house where you can watch the ancient art of creating Berber carpets. We will arrive there around 4 and after a short break you will ride camels into the dunes, where you will spend the night in Berber tents. After seeing a beautiful sunset you will have an evening full of authentic Berber entertainment along with a fantastic dinner.
DAY 2
Zagora – Marrakech
After viewing the most beautiful sunrise and having breakfast at the camp site you will ride the camels back to the auberge. Here you meet your driver and begin your journey back home, along the way you have frequent break to snatch those last pictures of the beautiful desert region before drive back to Marrakech, again via Tizi n Tichka pass.
