6.8-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Morocco, Killing Over 1,300

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Morocco on Friday night, killing at least 1,305 people and injuring more than 1,800 others. The quake was centered in the Atlas Mountains, about 75 kilometers (47 miles) southeast of Marrakech.
