Make a visit to the old Portuguese Harbor of Essaouira, a quaint town located on the Atlantic coast line with an awesome beach, great for water sports!

175 km from Marrakech (3hrs driving) Start at 8.00 hrs – end at 18.00 hrs. Originally an ancient Portugese Fortress, this delightful small town was desgined by a French Architect who based it in a Vauben style which has led to this town being very unique to Morocco.It was one of the first trading harbours in Morocco in the late 18th Century. Essaouria has huge history dating back to the prehistoric times. This town is sheletered by the island of Mogador making it a peaceful harbour protected from strong marine winds making a perfect haven for water sports & surfing enthusiasts.Additionally, there are quad biking excursions, cookery courses, photographic excursions and Berber massages available for the active visitor.
