Marrakech Cities – Imlil Villages – Tachdirt Valley
We leave Marrakech after breakfast and drive to Imlil (1740m) via the bustling market town of Asni. Imlil is the principal trailhead for trekkers in the Toubkal Region. This is where we meet our mule team. Once all our gear is loaded we begin walking through a side valley that heads eastwards towards Tacheddirt some 8 km away.
At first the trail rises as we climb up to the pass of Tizi n’Tamatert (2279m) after which we descend on the far side to the pretty village of Ouaneskra (2200m) in the Imenane Valley. We then continue gently upriver for a further half-hour or so to Tacheddirt (2300m), where we set up camp near the riverside.1.5 hours transfer and 5 hours walking, approximately.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row use_custom_gutter=”on” make_equal=”on” admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”30px|30px|30px|30px|true|true” border_radii=”on|10px|10px|10px|10px” border_width_all=”1px” border_color_all=”#dddddd” box_shadow_style=”preset3″ box_shadow_vertical=”30px” box_shadow_blur=”60px” box_shadow_spread=”-30px” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_text_color=”#bb2e26″ header_2_font_size=”40px” custom_margin=”||20px||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]
