Overview 3 Valleys Atlas Mountain Trek

Your trek will take 3 days to complete, hiking amidst cool vegetation with juniper and pine trees for perfect shade breaks, your trek will take you across deep gorges, gushing river streams and groves of cherry and walnut trees. You will be in the capable hands of your allocated guide who will be willing to explain the culture and history behind areas you find yourself upon.

Whilst walking through the valleys you will undoubtedly stumble across many villages and hamlets belonging to the ethnic Berbers. These herding and farming communities are well use to the sights of tourists and are more than happy to allow you to interact with them to know more about their traditions and customs. Along the way you will have the opportunity to glimpse the stunning terraces that line the valleys where they grow their corn, barley and vegetables.

Imlil – Tinnerhourhine

Once arriving in Imlil you will begin your trek(1740m) towards Tinerhourhine, hereby passing by Tamatert. At lunch time you will be able to relax in the cool area of Tizi ‘n Tamatert (2279m). After lunch continue to Ouanesekra-Tamguist. After the first day walking you will arrive at Tinerhourhine (1600m) where you will spend the night in a local gite.
Approx. 4 hours walking.

Tinnerhourhine – Ikkis – Ait Aissa

After departing Tinerhourhine along the Imnane Valley, hereby you will pass the Berber village Ikkiss (1700m). Whilst walking through this village you will have the opportunity to have a photo break allowing you to take back home with you some memories of Berber village life! We then continue to Tizi n’Aguersioual (2000m) and where you will have lunch at Matate (2000m). The last night you will spend in a local gite in Aït Aïssa (1800m).
Approx. 6 to 7 hours walking.

Departing early from Aït Aïssa you will walk towards Tizi Oussem (1900m). We pass by Tizi Mzik (2400m), where you will have a final chance to take in the stunning views before descending to the village of Mzik before arriving back in Imlil and on to Marrakech.
