Imperial Cities of Morocco Tour

Directly Transfer & arrive in Marrakesh; settle in at a traditional riad located within the Medina; Start your exploration of the Medina through the souks full of craftsmanship items, etc.; Head to Jemaa el-Fnaa, where you'll find musicians & food vendors & much more. End your first day with dinner from a roof top terrace overlooking Jemaa el-Fnaa!

Begin your exploration of Marrakeck with one of its historical highlights at the Bahia Palace. Next, you will see the historical site of the Saadian Tombs, and from there go to Kasbah area to view the magnificent exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque followed by the remains of the former El Badi Palace. In the afternoon you will visit the colourful Majorelle Gardens surrounded by the Yas Saint-Laurent Museum.

You'll depart Marrakech and enjoying the beautiful scenery for an approximate 4 – 5 hour ride to the capital city of Rabat. When you arrive, you will have an opportunity to visit some of the famous historical sites such as Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum (Mausoleum de Mohammed V). You will then have a chance to travel to Kasbah des Oudaias, and explore the Medina of Rabat. Your visit will conclude with a viewing of the exterior of the Royal Palace of Rabat.

After breakfast, you will depart Rabat for Meknes, which takes approximately 2 hours. Meknes is one of Morocco's Imperial cities; you will have the opportunity to visit the highlights of this city, including: Bab Mansour, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and Heri es-Souani. After your visit to Meknes, you will continue on your journey to Fez, Morocco, where you will be staying in a riad in the Fez Medina (please note there is no scheduled dinner in the Medina of Fez).Majorelle Gardens surrounded by the Yas Saint-Laurent Museum.

Come enjoy a full-day tour of beautiful Fez, the medieval capital of Morocco, your personal guide will help you find your way around this maze like city. During your full-day tour you will explore the beautiful Bou Inania Medersa and the famous University of al-Qarawiyyin, as well as the Attarine Medersa and Chouara Tannery. You will also see the lovely Nejjarine Fountain, which has intricate decoration, and visit the Wood Arts Museum, this museum is located next to the Nejjarine Fountain. We will take a short drive to the Mellah, which is the Jewish Quarter of Fez and see the beautiful Royal Palace gates. We will stop along the way at many different tile and pottery artisans to enjoy a little shopping. At the end of this day we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan Fassi dinner (you must have Pastilla) but the dinner is not included in your tour. 

Depart Fez in the morning by car to Casablanca; this ride will take approximately 3-3.5 hours. Once in Casablanca, we will spend the afternoon touring the city, where you will see letter one of the largest mosques in the world, the Hassan II mosque. We will walk along the Corniche Ain Diab or the seaside promenade, as well as visit the Habous district, which is known for its combination of both French and Moroccan architecture. We will finish the evening at Rick's Café with either drinks or a meal.

Transfer to Mohammed V International Airport for your departure flight. If time allows, enjoy some last-minute souvenir shopping before leaving Morocco.
